Media Kit
Everything a journalist, analyst or partner needs to write about RankWit accurately: descriptions in three lengths, logos, brand basics, founder bios and the facts, with the date we last checked them.
What RankWit is
RankWit is the AI search visibility platform for travel. It measures how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI Overviews describe a hotel or a destination, explains why it is named or passed over, and turns that into a prioritised list of fixes it can also execute. Built for the moment when travellers stop comparing ten links and start asking one question.
Category Definition (GEO)
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is the work of measuring and improving how AI engines name, cite and recommend a brand. It is what SEO becomes when people stop scrolling ten links and ask an assistant one question instead.
Ready to use descriptions
Three lengths, each ready to copy. Use whichever fits. We would rather you paste one of these than rewrite it, because consistent wording is what makes a company recognisable across sources.
Short (35 words)
RankWit is the AI search visibility platform for travel. It measures how AI assistants like ChatGPT describe a hotel or a destination, explains why it appears in their answers or doesn't, and shows exactly what to change.
CopyMedium (65 words)
RankWit is the AI search visibility platform built for travel. It tracks how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI Overviews answer real traveller questions, measures how often a hotel or a destination is named against its competitors, and explains why the models mention it or pass it over. It then turns that diagnosis into a prioritised list of fixes, and can produce the content that closes the gaps. Founded in 2025 by Dario Valastro and Davide Filiaggi, RankWit is based in Aci Castello, Italy.
CopyLong (185 words)
RankWit is the AI search visibility platform built for travel. A growing share of travellers now decide where to stay, and where to go, by asking an AI assistant a single question instead of comparing ten links, and in that moment a hotel or a destination is either named or invisible. For a hotel those answers carry real money: a booking that starts with an AI recommendation comes in direct, without the 15 to 25 percent commission an OTA would take. For a destination they carry visitors and competitiveness, and whether the AI portrays it accurately or with outdated information. RankWit tracks how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI Overviews respond to real traveller questions, measures how often a hotel or a destination is named against its competitors, and maps the sources each answer is built on: the pages, reviews and guides the models rely on. From there it produces a prioritised list of what to change and in what order, and can create the content that closes the gaps, so the work gets done rather than just identified. RankWit serves independent and boutique hotels, hotel groups, destination management organisations and tourism boards. Founded in 2025 by Dario Valastro and Davide Filiaggi, the company is based in Aci Castello, Italy.
CopyWho we are
The point of this section is accuracy, not restriction. These are the descriptions that hold up, and the ones that do not.
YES
What we are
An AI search visibility platform for travel: we measure how AI assistants talk about your hotel or destination, explain why, and show you exactly what to change.
NO
What we are not
Not an SEO agency. We work alongside SEO teams and agencies, in-house or external. Traditional search and AI answers use different mechanisms, and we handle the second one.
Not a booking engine or a channel manager. We do not process reservations and we do not manage rates or availability.
Not an OTA competitor, and not an anti-OTA product. OTAs bring volume and are paid for it. Our work concerns the earlier stage, when a traveller is still deciding where to go.

YES
What we do
We do three things, in this order:
We measure. RankWit asks the major AI assistants the questions travellers actually ask, in the languages your guests search in, and tracks how often your hotel is named, in which answers, and against which competitors.
We diagnose. Every AI answer is built on sources. We map the pages, reviews and guides the models draw on for your market, and find the specific reasons you are in some answers and missing from others.
We fix. You get a prioritised list of what to change, in what order, with the reasoning attached. And when you would rather have it done than listed, RankWit produces the content itself.

What we do not do
We do not sell placement. It is not possible to pay to be recommended by an AI assistant, from us or from anyone else. Any vendor claiming otherwise is describing something that does not exist.
We do not guarantee positions. We report where a property stands today, what moved and why. Most clients see measurable change in AI citations within 30 to 60 days, with compounding results typically between 90 and 180 days depending on starting position and market.
We do not work with a single model. A finding drawn from one engine is not a finding.

How to write about us
The name is RankWit. One word, capital R and capital W, no space. Not Rankwit, not RANKWIT, not Rank Wit, not RankWit AI. The domain is rankwit.ai. Legal entity: RankWit Srl Società Benefit
On first mention of GEO, expand it. Generative Engine Optimization, then GEO afterwards. Most of our market has not seen the acronym before, and an unexplained acronym in a headline loses the reader we care about.
AI, not artificial intelligence, in body copy. Spell it out on first mention when the outlet's style requires it.
Preferred category wording: AI search visibility, or visibility in AI answers. Both work. "AI SEO" is a reasonable shorthand for a general audience but it collapses a real distinction, so we avoid it in our own materials.
A framing we would rather avoid: that AI is destroying hotel traffic and operators must act before it is too late. It is the standard line in this category and we do not use it, because the data does not need the alarm. The accurate version is that a share of the decision has moved into conversations with AI assistants, and it is measurable today.
